Dr. Kelly Reed, D.O., FAOCD, FAAD, FACMS is a double board-certified, fellowship-trained Mohs micrographic and reconstructive surgeon and dermatologist with more than a decade of experience treating skin cancer. Having completed more than 10,000 Mohs surgeries and reconstructions, Dr. Reed brings exceptional expertise, precision, and compassion to the care of her patients. She sees patients at our Panama City, Panama City Beach, and Dothan offices.

Professional Experience

Dr. Reed specializes in both surgical and medical dermatology. During her dermatology residency at Lehigh Valley Hospital, she received extensive training in all aspects of medical dermatology and dermatological surgery, and served as chief dermatology resident in her final year. She went on to complete a Mohs Micrographic Surgery Fellowship at Michigan State University, St. Joseph Mercy Hospital.

As a fellowship-trained Mohs micrographic surgeon, Dr. Reed is an expert in treating skin cancers of all types, using tissue-sparing techniques that offer the highest cure rate and best cosmetic outcome. She has completed more than 10,000 Mohs surgeries and reconstructions, has published in medical journals, and has presented at numerous dermatology meetings at both the state and national level.

Medical Missions & Community Service

Dr. Reed regularly combines her love of travel with volunteerism as a member of DOCARE International. She has participated in numerous medical mission trips to Guatemala and Kenya, where she treated patients in underserved areas while overseeing and teaching medical students. Closer to home, she volunteers at local health fairs and community skin cancer screening events.

Personal Life & Interests

Originally from Southeast Missouri, Dr. Reed enjoyed her time in Florida during part of her medical training and returned with her family in 2021 to serve the greater Gulf Coast community. She currently resides in Gulf Breeze with her husband, Josh, their son, and their rescue dog, Ziggy. In her free time, Dr. Reed enjoys hiking, paddle boarding, salsa dancing, visiting national parks, and exploring with her family.
